It’s a funny thing, when parents, adults, friends , people in general make some sort of claim or statement of something that happened ‘before you were here’.

It’s weird, to think about the fact that you were not here before. That you weren’t even an idea in your parents’ head at some point. That you never existed before….
The day you were born, that’s when you were considered a real life (mind you, the real fact is when you were conceived but we won’t get into that). 

You were nothing. You weren’t a thought. You were inexistent. 

And then.. 

“yeah.. I mean, 1994, a few weeks after you were born, we didn’t go down south that year cause we had to take care of you.”

Then you existed. Someones plans were altered because you mattered now. After that one minute you popped out, all of a sudden 5 people are worrying, caring and thinking of you in that labor room.. in less than a minute, you are all that matters. 
Because now, now you were existent. For years and years people are able to communicate with you and put their focus on you because you exist. You are considered a human being, a life- you matter. 

To this day, when someone talks about something that occurred after your year of birth, they are unable to mention your inexistence because of the lack of validity in that statement. I’m sure you know why… Because you exist! You’re something, something this world asked to have to keep it alive.
So my conclusion here is this… Once upon a time, you were nothing, had no voice, had no meaning, had no existence. 
But then you happened, and were born into this life to reveal your meaning. Your meaning is what you do and what you do depends on you.
